What do yall think the topics for the debate will be for tonight’s debate. Since it’s a shite news organization hosting it.

1. Gun Violence
2. Women’s reproductive rights
3. Jan 6th
4. Climate Change
5. Immigration
6. Universal healthcare

Probably nothing on the economy, wars, insane police reform, tampons in boys bathrooms, political lawfare and so on

They will probably stay clear of anything that will damage her and choose topics such as J6 and white supremacy, women’s rights, universal healthcare, how the poor pay to much and rich doesn’t pay enough. They will obviously throw in needs to help save Ukraine from the evil empire and how Trump will let Russians rule the world

The thing to watch for is 'spontaneous vs. memorized'. Kamala has been in training for a week to memorize exact sentences to respond to a list of topics. It will sound memorized.
Trump doesn't need to do that. He's an excellent extemporaneous speaker.

Whatever the topics Trump should just run rough shod and make it about economy and immigration, make Kamala defend eating pets

Have you ever been convicted of a felony?

Who won the election in 2020?

Trump - if elected you will be 83 years old during your term as president - is that too old?

Say anything remotely cohesive about Child Care

They really need to be careful with this. PDJT is technically not convicted of anything until sentenced.

Mr. Trump, why should America vote for an insurrectionist?

Vice-President Harris, what is it like to be so perfect and wonderful every day?

Mr. Trump, there's a new movie coming out about you that proves your raped your wife Ivana, did you also rape Melainia?

Vice-President Harris, is Mr. Trump the biggest racist you've ever seen?

LMAO because it's probably spot on.

If it were fair...

- Who the frick is running the White House for the Daily Double
- Economy for 500
- Immigration for 200
- Foreign Affairs and wars for 100
- Healthcare (/w reproductive rights)

I think Trump will rightfully ignore questions common sense Americans don't give a damn about.
He'll dive right into Kamala/Joe's border crisis and their broken economy.

His answers on the deficit and childcare last week at the economic club say otherwise. Just absolute word salads…

Immigration

She'll say Trump got the "bipartisan" deal squashed. Trump just needs to say "sounds like I got more power than the active VP does, if I'm able to squash a horrible bill that won't stop anything, but just give more money to import more"

Probably nothing on the economy, wars, insane police reform, tampons in boys bathrooms, political lawfare and so on

He needs to hit the answers quick and to the point, and then just change the topic. Calling out ABC too as they have a 100% favorable spin towards Harris since she announced.

BTW...who's closing statement last and who is on which side? I know they are coin tosses but hadn't heard it yet like the Biden debate.

The best part about the CNN debate is the first three or so topics they opened up with were right in Trump's wheelhouse. I think it was the economy, foreign policy, and immigration. Part of the reason Biden stumbled early and his dementia took over is because Trump got to attacking right away.

I wonder if ABC knows that and will put Kamala's better topics first.

DRINK EVERY TIME:

Harris uses the words felon, extreme, threat to democracy, or for the people.

Trump uses the words communist, socialist, radical or Marxist. Double-shot for tampon.

Harris talks about her experience dealing with predators, scammers, cheaters, perpetrators, or special interests.

Trump invokes the Kamala crime wave or defund the police, or says something like They destroyed San Francisco or You can’t buy a loaf of bread without getting shot. Any story of this sort qualifies (“These Haitians, it’s unbelievable. Who would eat a cat?”). Non-negotiable double-shot for literally third world conditions.

Harris says Let me be clear, I’m talking, or “Not going back.” Take a SMALL SIP ONLY whenever she mentions the middle class. Take a full drink when Donald Trump only cares about himself.

Trump says illegal, sanctuary, Border Czar. Double shot when Harris protests she wasn’t.

Harris cackles. Trump does “stank face” or “pinchy hands.”

Harris mentions the opportunity economy, price gouging or bringing down costs. Double for groceries. If both candidates mention groceries, take an aspirin.

“CHECK, PLEASE!” Drink if Harris runs out of things to say and has to be reminded she still has time left. (Drinking game trivia: this rule was originally written for Joe Biden years ago.)

“BILLIONS AND BILLIONS!” Drink when Trump rattles off a statistic that’s off by a factor of 10x. Double if he tells us how many people were just shot in Chicago and how it was worse than Afghanistan. (He may substitute Philadelphia tonight).

From Harris: sales tax, bipartisan, reproductive freedom, different vision. Drink for any mathematically perfect tautology/redundancy (e.g. deadlines of time). More than three seconds of stoned-looking hesitation is a drink. Strike your companion if you hear joy.

From Trump: so crazy, beautiful, fake, beating the hell, never been anything like it. Drink when he says any national problem was completely eliminated when he was president and complains the media lies its face off about it. You may also drink for take a bullet or the “pull down that chart” story if you feel under-served.

Tune in tonight to the livestream at 8:45 pm for an additional MYSTERY RULE.

IN THE POST-DEBATE COMMENTARY, DRINK WHEN:

Any pundit uses a legal metaphor to describe the Harris performance (“A great closing argument,” “She proved beyond a reasonable doubt tonight,” “Tonight, America is her jury”)

“Move the needle” (if a performance did or did not)

“Trump was incoherent/rambling”

Harris showed she was “calm” or “pragmatic”; “We saw a real leader tonight”

The real opinion of Barack Obama is written on the face of an otherwise evasive David Axelrod; full tumescence of Brian Stelter is detected; Chris Hayes completely agrees with whatever Joy, Rachel, or Jen just said

FINALLY, THE WALTER KIRN RULE:

You must finish your bottle and arm yourself if a technical breakdown or broadcast interruption takes place in the middle of a one-sided debate.
