What else can you do at this point besides laugh it off.

Not surprised. The spasms wasn't going away and you can see he was pushing hard through it to play. It was only a matter of time before he fricked up his back playing through it.

Pretty surprising this med staff would even let him play.

It's always two weeks before everyone can play
Nothing to do but shrug and say OK
While the season whittles away
Out of the playoffs by Thanksgiving Day

This probably explains why Trey is a GTD today.

WHAT THE ACTUAL frick IS GOING ON
He's been playing through pain, because someone has to shoot 3s, and we've been without CJ and Trey.
But his back obviously needs to rest. Now that Trey is just about ready, the team is going to let his back actually heal.

It's awesome that he was trying to play through the pain but he needs to sit.
He clearly isn't right.

The irony in this is that Ingram has played 9 games, Zion has played 6 games (missed 3) so far --- which would honestly put them on pace for their best in the past few years while...
CJ has played 4 games; missed 16 last year
Jones has played 4 games; missed 6 last year
Murray has played 1 game; missed 4 last year
Murphy has played 0 games; missed 25 last year
this sucks.

More of a credit to Hawk that he was trying to sacrifice his body to play. The med staff gets blamed for a lot but a lot of it is on the pain tolerance of the player (hint hint other stars on the team). Hawk’s guts playing through this really showed the character of this kid.

I have 10 years of professional experience in the 18+ Coquille adult basketball league. I'm available for a 10 day contract if the Pels need me.

Add Hawk to the "More of a Leader than Zion" pile.

If we could somehow surgically implant Hawk's mentality into Zion's brain then we might have a chance to make some noise

Do they know it’s the Saints who are supposed to be tanking?

You mean the guy playing through a hamstring/thigh injury?

fify. Is it the thigh or hamstring? Is it the left leg or the right leg? Who knows? Doritos!
Let me know when Hawk takes himself out and walks off the court mid-play only to return uninjured 15 minutes later.

At this point we'll need to suit up Willie for 15 minutes a game

Season is slipping away before December.
Need a complete shakeup from top to bottom - just like their neighboring football team in the same facility.

3-6 in the NBA isn’t the same as 2-7 in NFL. I feel like a lot people don’t understand that.
