Took me over 3 months and lots of failures that I had to fix. Finally came together. It’s not perfect but I think it came out great.

They are ceramic tile floors with a wood finish. I like them a lot. Easy to clean. No scratching.

That's beautiful man. Excellent work. What were some of the screw ups you had to overcome?

So I did two separate pours on the epoxy since it gets hot and had over 2” to pour. The second pour wasn’t measures correctly between resin and hardener and didn’t set right. Was still tacky 1 week later so I had to rip out the tacky epoxy. Was a miserable process. Used a router to get most of it off. Also had issues with sanding the epoxy and couldn’t get it smooth enough. Had to resand multiple times till I got it right.

Honestly, since you built the table, you notice any imperfections but no one else will likely notice them unless you point them out.

Looks great. That wood grain is stunning.

bth, I'm not a huge fan of the epoxy table fad but that looks great and unlike anything I've seen. Really like the white wood contrast to the either dark blue or black epoxy.

The thought of digging out tacky epoxy that didn't set right sounds absolutely awful.

If I did another and it happened I’d scrap the project lol

I’m not a big fan of the river table look, but I appreciate craftsmanship. That’s good work. Well done!

That's incredible and looks amazing. I'm not a huge fan of the style but it's obvious you're a craftsman and take pride in your work. Really great work.

Very nice!
I know pouring epoxy like that isn't easy. I watch a few different guys who make tables like this.

I've built a bunch of furniture and that's kinda how I think my furniture will end up down the road.

The legs look nice and unique on it also. Are they metal or wood? Buy them or build them?

Where did you source your epoxy from? I've been wanting to do some stuff with epoxy but I just haven't really looked for it. Did you experiment with different epoxies or just go for the one you got and it worked? I reckon they may all be close enough to the same that you can buy whatever is convenient to find.
