Brawl erupts in Baton Rouge courthouse

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Several people were involved in a fight in the 19TH Judicial District Courthouse Tuesday morning.

Several people could hear screaming, and slamming was heard against the doors of Judge Fred Crifasi’s courtroom.

Hair, earrings, shoes, and other personal items littered the hall outside of the court.

Sheriff’s deputies are still on scene, interviewing people involved. A spokesperson for the sheriff’s office said there were no injuries.
