Solution to capture the lost tax revenue is to raise taxes….which will force more to leave. Which will cause another tax increase to be needed down the road.

Twin cities to be next Detroit if it continues…..

Trump has all Fed workers back in the office. Waltz has also ordered all State employees back in the office.

The businesses shut down in downtown Minneapolis due to the Floyd riots and BLM.

This is what they voted for. I hope they're happy.

Also, I just realized that this is the 3rd time I have posted that response today alone and all in regard to different places. You can really tell where mindset is at now.

Well of course, they aren't the problem. It's gotta be the few Republicans that are left there, it's their fault because they don't think the same way and that's why the city is failing.

When did a governor get the power to raise property taxes. Cities and counties do that.

Lucky for people in Minnesota they don't live in Jackson county in the KCMO city limits, some of the property taxes have gone up 80% the past 2 years. I just saw on the local news Jackson county raised property taxes on short term rentals by 200%.....Dim cities need dat money.

Yup, that’s the death spiral. And the people leaving are the taxpayers, so it accelerates the problem.

They voted for this. If anything, we should congratulate them on it.
