Nuss is going to be 18.

Perk is running it back, for real this time, with 7.

I think Nuss gets 18 this year. And I’m really going out on a limb with this one, but 7 has to be Perkins.

Nuss will be 18. I really can’t think of anyone else they could give it to.

Hopefully Perkins is the only one wearing #7

It was a fun tradition before O gave an unproven failed WR 7. I used to get annoyed at all the whining around the talk but now I'm pretty gassed on it all too. That said, nuss for obv 18 but 7 just needs to go for good.

With NIL, and the way things have been, we haven't really had a superstar like the badger, fournette, PP, stingly, etc other than our qbs. We still need to put some respect on 18, ESPECIALLY in the NIL Era. Thats a respectful honor, sticking with the team through and through and fulfilling a senior leadership role is something we should cherish.

It’s a joke. You’re dumb if you don’t know anyone has 7

We had two of the top 10 best WR in the NFL on our team the season before last.

stingly

If my memory is right, sting opted out after getting 7. Maybe an injury.

7 naturally ended up in a playmakers hands because it’s LSU and skill guys wear single digits.

It became a circus when an LSU staffer sent me a message on Twitter because I said something about Giles.

If Nuss gets 18 and wins the Heisman and championship, then is it retired?

Personally think there needs to be more requirements to actually retire a number. LSU currently has 31 players wearing the numbers 0-19, with 5-9-20 all being off limits.

Yep, though I doubt that matters at all.

He only appeared in 4 games.

I love the tradition. PP giving to the Honey Badger to start was great. But it’s hard to believe some of the players who have come thru and haven’t worn it: Burrow, Chase, JJ, Nabers JD etc. it’s nice to see some of the fellas wear them in the NFL like JJ.

If you're saying this because it hasn't been announced yet, you need to be reminded that that didn't announce it until August 22 last year. We also already have our 7.
