Haven’t they done it to the max? Where are the extra people going to come from? Most blue states are losing population.

It's called redistricting in blue states. Gerrymandering is only in Red states.

Gerrymandering is so yesterday.

Today's Dems have moved on to counting illegals after opening the door to anyone that could get here.

Is the narrative on here that blue states are way more guilty at gerrymandering than red states, and therefore these poor noble Republicans have no other choice but to do the same?

Watched a blurb with Hannity presumably from last night talking about actual representation.

GOP outperformed dems, yet netted far less seats.

All
Due
To
Gerrymandering

With IL being the main culprit.

The South (Red States) does do a bit of gerrymandering. But they do it to ensure black people get elected.

I’m good with dropping gerrymandering in red states if you are.

I'll try to find it and watch it.

Hannity used Illinois as his main anecdote, but in Georgia 100 percent of the Senators are Democrat but 35 percent of the goobers in Congress are Democrat.

This is why I prefer the "both sides do it so stop trying to rationalize doing it even more" approach.

They can’t. They’re just pissed the light is being shined on it and the method is being used “against” them.

Complete hypocrisy but then again, they’re politicians.

If I see a DC Draino tweet on here one more time! That guy has to have an incredible number of sheepish and borderline retarded followers.

Yes, in fact if all democratic states did this there aren't many seats for them to pick up.

Republicans have far more seats they could pick up.

So dems are crying holy hell.

But to my knowledge the Supreme Court hasn't come down on this like it appears they will. I always hate counting my chickens before they are hatched.

I will say red states should 100 percent redistrict.

In the red states the gerrymandering was done to get more blue seats and they were forced.

In the north they already have done all this and they can't get many more seats.

This is potentially huge.

That was the point of starting this thread. I cannot see how they can gain any more seats and they really can’t get rid of any GOP seats. Even in CA, I don’t see how they can get rid of GOP seats.

Just heard on the radio in Houston that some dim-wit in Massachusetts is our threatening to do the same thing in her state ===== the already have zero GOP districts there.

Well Hell, at this point you might well select them all in a big block on a statewide ballot or just let the Governor hand pick them.
