Why are so many fans threatened by frank Wilson on here?

Like if he sucks, then why do I keep seeing several dozens of posts about him everyday? You'd think people would take the W and move forward to a new topic.

Some people, not me, are scared he will dominate(recruiting) the New Orleans area that is loaded with talent. I don’t think anyone is threatened by his coaching.

Because they recognize its important to maintain relationships given that we havent been dominant or really good the last few years. Outside of one year we've realistically been a measuring stick, not a team that could make a run or beat anybody. Just we will beat who we should and won't beat who we shouldn't. Therefore we should keep our New Orleans relationships as much as we can because well, relationships matter but not as much as they used to in terms of recruits. But I also think it was time, there's only so much patience you can have with a guy who doesnt seem to develop RBs too well but can recruit.

Not sure what in particular he can do to turn average backs into stars, especially with our OL struggles. We haven't been getting Fournette/Guice/ Faulk talent of late.

I mean I agree that we have had our OL struggles but Kaleb Jackson and Durham have looked much worse after their freshman years. Durham is probably hurt yes but he just looks like hes regressed skill wise. Also his RB rotations are absolutely stupid sometimes, always takes out the hot hand.

All Frank is good at is putting together rosters that get head coaches fired - Miles and CBK. Frank has never been here for a national championship and is the most overrated coach in the past 25 years. Nola relationships stopped mattering when NIL was introduced and Frank brings ZERO to the table as far as on field coaching. Most logical people can see all of this and we’re all scratching our heads wondering why a lot of posters on here think he’s the second coming of Jesus Christ

No one that knows anything about football fears this. NIL has changed that now. I'm not sure what you do with him anymore. He is not a good field coach, and now, his ties to NOLA aren't as important with NIL changing things.

It's hard for a lot of fans to let go of the idea of him being a recruiting genius. Yes, he's really fricking good at recruiting but he's going to have to prove that at a place like Ole Miss without a rockstar at the HC position. The world knows he's a horrendous coach and we're about to find out just how elite of a recruiter he is. NIL is going to make it difficult for him to keep up with LSU on the recruiting trail in my opinion.
I'd go as far as saying Frank Wilson was the worst LSU football head coach of my fandom (since mid 1990s). I'm 40 and was around 10ish when I started paying attention to LSU athletics closely.

I've learned that if you are gonna read this board be prepared for some to be emotional with no facts and some that sit behind a keyboard treating the team like its fantasy football.Frank is total garbage to some now. I support LSU no matter what sport it is.The new OL coach has no history of producing OL but since Lane hired him its "in Lane we trust".I'm sure you know this.Go tigas!

Who is the main person responsible for recruiting running backs? Frank Wilson, notice we didn’t sign any high school running backs in this year’s class despite needing at least 1 stud there.

The reason people trust Lane when it comes to offense is his history and track record of producing good offenses. It’s not so much specifically trusting the new O-line coach. Lane has earned that trust when it comes to that side of the ball.

I don't get the logic myself. Even I complained about the RB rotation the last few years but this is getting feminine. Fanbase wanted him gone the last few weeks. Now he's gone and we're still mad at him lmao. All of a sudden he's getting the blame for the entire season and every problem we had all year is all because of frank. Im not for or against the guy but it's weird. If he's everything the fanbase been saying he is the last few weeks then we shouldn't care this much. Starting to sound like emotional ole miss twitter fans
