The media hate for Lane would push them to ecstasy if OM went to the championship game. I hope Miami wins. Any other year I would've pulled for OM though.

There is no reason to root for any SEC team, ever. We aren't in the BCS anymore.

I pull against the rest of the SEC in Bowl games and the CFP. In many cases we compete for recruits so why see other teams succeed on a big stage?
Also, the SEC homer mentality - it just means more, everybody else plays cupcakes, etc. is annoying so it's a nice check.

The Ole Miss story would be a good feel good story if it weren't for the Ole Miss fans...... and if it wasn't that it was Ole Miss.

I've honestly never seen anything like it. I get that they have NEVER been in this territory....but there is no humility or feel good to it....they are acting like they are elite and have been all along....and they are spreading hate that would make even liberals blush.

This is how I feel. I don’t particularly “pull for” any other team, but when another SEC team wins big it’s like “oh that’s nice at least it’s the SEC” but with how obnoxious their fans and the media have been during this whole thing, I want OM to get their shite rocked so hard it takes them a decade to recover
