Sonic is advertising this. Has anyone dared to try this? Liked it?

I put them in white wine on occasion. Amazing how much it changes the taste. May have to try it in coke soon

Pickled or fresh jalapenos? Would make a huge difference.

I was intrigued when I saw the ad. May try it. I can think of worse combinations.

I suspect it's a test of their advertising effectiveness. "Let's come up with something ridiculous and see how many dupes start ordering it."

I dont really care for jalapeños or additions (cherry/lime/vanilla) in coke. I was just curious if this would be popular. I know many people like jalapeños on pepperoni pizza.

Doesn't sound very appealing to me, and I love spicy food and grow my own hot and super-hot peppers every summer.

The big thing when I was a kid was to get a coke in the small bottle for $.06 and a small bag of salted Planter's Peanuts for $.05 and dump them in the coke. I never really cared for it, but a lot of people went that route.

Oh, and this was in the early 60's in case you're shocked at the prices.

You got some age on ya ole boy. Congrats. My Pops used to say getting old just means you're pretty good at living.

re: jalapenos in Coke - I love a good cold Co-Cola but limit myself to one or two a month for obvious reasons. If you want jalapenos in yours, man knock yourself out. But I have no desire.

Yeah, I'm an old fart by this site's standards at 73. I don't mind getting older as long as I can still do for myself, and so far, so good.

It oddly works. I buy my gf the mexican cokes and she will put a jap from the garden in one every now and then

My parents were huge proponents of peanuts in Coke. They made sure I tried it, and I didn’t love it, but can see the point. The whole sweet/salty thing done old school.

I haven't seen them lately, but at one time some beer company was putting whole jalapeños in their bottled beer. It was a clear bottle not unlike a Corona bottle, but I don't know what the brand name was.

Years ago, I was doing a pig roast and cajun themed party for some friends in Ohio, and someone showed up with a 6 pack of them.

After about the 3rd sip, just about everyone who tried it threw them in the garbage.

Seems like pickled isn't usually used for jalapenos when adding to drinks.
