Unless we legitimately have unlimited funds I just don't think it's worth it to pay one of these guys 5-7mil per year. Teams are getting desperate and throwing whatever at these guys and LSU would have to way overpay. Use those funds to get studs elsewhere on the roster that you're not overpaying for and let Kiffin do what Kiffin does and find a QB that's off everyone's radar that can run his offense. The portal is all about finding value and these high profile QBs are not it right now. Ball out elsewhere and get a value QB and turn him into Trinidaddy

If it was that easy, Kiffin wouldn’t be bringing in the top options…. Trinidad is the exception, not the rule.

The drop off after those 2 are terrible. Chambliss not getting his waiver either.

Just offer what they’re worth but don’t overpay. You take either of those guys for 4-5 mil. North of that I think you shop. At some point they have to want to be here also.

Spend the $ on the lines on both sides of the ball. A good oline with a vet QB that can move a little and makes good decisions is better than paying 7 mil for a QB with no line.

If chambliss didn't hit, ole miss would have been 7-5, 8-4 at best

Agreed I just don't think we should make Leavitt/Sorsby the highest paid QB of all time to get him here next year

Don't say this then also expect LSU to win.

We were a QB shy of competing this year. It's LITERALLY the only position on the field that touches the ball every play.

The center says “hold my Gatorade.”

I get what you’re saying, just clowning.

Not in this era. You pay a guy for one year and load up to win. You don’t strategize for more than one year. Is what it is currently. Pay the bill.

And you know Trinidad would’ve been the starter which he wasn’t. People are overhyping this, certainly saw potential in him but got lucky too.
