Right:
-Thought this was a 5-7 win team
-Defense was going to be good
-Didn’t mind the Juwan Johnson contract
-Chris Olave

Wrong:
-Thought we’d have a top 10ish OL
-Was looking at McKinstry as a legit CB1
-Bought Kendre Miller hype
-Rattler had QB1 potential
-Was meh on Kellen Moore
-Chris Olave

wrong:

Shough, didn't like the pick at all. He's already contributed more than I thought as a starter and has at least done enough to justify not using a high pick in a weak class.

Since becoming the starter, he finished with the 3rd highest completion percentage in the NFL, 7th best in passing yards per game, and 8th in passer rating. Also went 5-4 with this roster. I don’t think we have to caveat that he’s the guy you build around.

I think he's earned a shot, but I don't think you can say without a shadow of a doubt he's your franchise qb. We've seen many of rookies start out very impressive only to fall flat the next season once teams have more film and an entire offseason to study tendencies.

Again, far surpassed my expectations for him and has justified the pick. You now add more pieces and continue to evaluate. If he were meh I would have still been in favor of taking a QB to compete, you can now remove qb from your board in round 1, which I did not think we'd be able to do with him when we selected him.

Charlie ever doing anything but pints

Right on
Oline sucks
Kansas RB
Vele can play CKM wanted him
Trust CKM on Tyler draft pick

I disagree. I think he showed enough for the team to build around him. Maybe he suffers a sophomore bump but for him to put up top 10 numbers with our roster means we have something.

I thought we would be a 5-7 win this year. But I was totally disappointed in the OL (to be fair we did get hit with a ton of injuries).

This is exactly what I think as well. He was out there with fourth to fifth string olinemen, RB's and receivers and was making plays and winning. He would get freaking destroyed hop back up and throw a touchdown. He may have a slump or even not be good in the future but he is trending very high right now. So much so you do not need to draft a QB in the draft.

Right:
Shough being franchise QB
Chase showing he is the future at the position
Demario maintaining excellence
Cam resurgence
Rattler not being good
Tanking is retarded and the people who called for it being stupid

Wrong:
-OLine being good - mostly due to injuries and Fuaga being slightly disappointing.
-Thought we'd win 8-9 games but I also thought Shough was going to start day 1
-Olave - didn't think we could pay him with the concussions, but he is forcing our hand
- Thought the defense would regress without Marshon / Koolaid looking iffy last year, but they played well. (Getting rid of Grantham was a great thing for the players)

you're arguing over something that is largely irrelevant anyway. We don't have to commit a large amount of money to him this offseason, so whether or not we believe he's definitely the franchise QB or not, the process is the same.

My point was he showed enough this season to make you comfortable with him as your locked in starter for 2026

Right isn’t the correct word for me, more like hopefully optimistic.

Moore
Shough

Wrong:
Defense
Olave
Johnson
Cam - thought he was done.

That we really didn't know what to expect, other than we had some pieces but no depth, i.e. some potential to be sneaky.

How about going forward you and the rest of you NegaTards just shut up with your bitching about draft picks and wait to see how they pan out? The issue isn't that you were wrong; the issue is that you and the rest of your choads think you know more than everyone else in the organization as you watch a few college games on saturdays from your recliner.

I had no idea what we would be record wise but knew we had a weak roster. My only opinions before the season was that although I didn’t (and still don’t) know how Moore will turn out, I like the general direction of getting a young offensive minded coach as opposed to a retread (McCarthy, Allen, etc)

Might be the single most important thing for this franchise for the next 5 years. We are in desperate need of playmakers. With QB not one of them, that moves up your timeline considerably.

I was right on our record being 6-11 or 7- 10 team.

I was right that we would win more on the back end of the season.

I was right that we were going to sweep at least one division team. And I guessed right on the Panthers.

As far as Shough ? I was neither right or wrong about him. On draft day I liked him better than any of the other quarterbacks except for Dart. I liked the size and I was not scared of his injury history. His age did not concern me one bit.
But I thought it'd take him at least 2 to 3 years and/or he might be a career backup.

I was wrong about Cam Jordan responding to this defense. I thought he wouldn't get a lot if sacks.

I was wrong about Kool-aid stepping up big as #1 corner.

I was wrong about Kamara blowing it up this year in Coach Moore's offense.

I was wrong about both guards stepping up this year.

Right:
Tyler Shough's ceiling
D Line's ceiling
Saints not being bottom 3-5
Taysom/ Foster being a waste

Honestly should be excluded from wrongs due to how right those other things were.

But with respect to our vets I was wrong about:
Cam being washed
DD taking a step back
Olave being completely made of glass
