For the first time, I watched more than 10 minutes of a UN meeting. Whatever purpose the UN might have served, I think it's time for the US to leave the UN.

Whatever international co-operation we need can be formed on an issue by issue basis.

What do you think?

I mean, we don't have to listen to anything they say, while being able to punish anyone else who doesn't listen...and we can veto anything in the UNSC.

Sounds like a good gig.

Had I bothered to actually watch the UN myself, I probably would have also. Stupidly, I relied on reporting that implied how important and useful the UN was.

Yes, of course. United Nations is a joke. Parasites on the US. GTFO.

Personally, I say "Hell, Yes!"

Imo, none of these Globalist organizations have the best interests of everyday people as their prime concern, or any concern at all. UN, WHO, WEF, etc.

I know he has other things on his plate, but I would wholeheartedly support President Trump both 1).Withdrawing America from the UN, and 2) Telling them move their headquarters out of our country.

I agree with everything except for the punish part. Other countries having permanent veto states that are categorically opposed to us negates any value there.

All the UN does is talk.

They don't DO anything.

Trump just demonstrated that talk means nothing unless you DO.

Someone has to be the DOER and the UN ain't it.

That's nice.

Not getting our money's worth.

Yes. And NATO, too.

I'm actually semi-erect at the mere thought of keeping all that taxpayer money right here where it belongs.

You’re not wrong. I’d like to see what happens to them if we cut off the money supply.

What wars has the UN stopped?
All they do is talk and figure out how to spend U.S. taxpayer money.

Sure. That's a separate topic though. We can stay in the UN and get all the advantages (with no disadvantages) without giving as much money

"keep your friends close, and your enemies closer"?

I'd think maybe it would be a good idea to have a say in what's going on but object to supporting them monetarily. The whole UN agenda seems to be corrupt.

They take up prime real estate. Open that building up for sale to corporations and reduce the deficit.
