Are we going after Demond because Leavitt passed?

Demond had never come up previously and I’m just trying to understand if we swung and missed on Sorsby and Leavitt and so now it’s panic mode and Lane said we gotta throw a huge bag at someone not currently on the portal.

Moscone mentioned Williams as a possibility before the portal opened so I don’t think this is out of no where.

Lane been trying to get Williams. recruited and had him committed for a minute out of high school and recruited him again when he was leaving Arizona.

we talked about it on here December 6th, if you were an Everyday'er you'd know this.
Williams recommitted to Washington since then, so everyone thought it was dead.

Yes, he said Kiffin/Weiss recruited him out of high school for Ole Miss before he originally signed with Arizona in 2024....So there's always been interest in him with this staff.
We shall see. It's not completely written in stone they've lost out on Leavitt at this point, also....

Its out of the blue because he signed a NIL deal with Washington to play this year then put out a tweet saying he was going in the portal. Going to be interesting to see if he will be able to transfer or be forced to play at Washington this year.
