I think the one that hurts the most is the Pacers trade. That trade did not make any sense at the time when they thought it was going to be a very late pick. I do not understand why that trade could not wait until after the season.

I said this a few times in the offseason that it was a big deal only to be told by quite a few posters that the east was so bad the Pacers were still going to be a playoff lock.

Dumars just threw away a ton of value with that trade.

Griff was bad, Dumars is just retarded.

This is what happens when a corporation makes a lazy hire. Gayle is a fricking moron for not hiring a consulting firm to lead the search for a new executive. If Dumars was the right guy, let the professionals tell you that.

Good ole Gayle Benson, this is why you don't hire "friends & family".

Griffin was like a slow bleed of bad decisions mixed with some good decisions.

Dumars is like getting shot in the artery of bad decisions. This team is bleeding out quick, fast , and in a hurry.

Queen looking good doesn’t make that trade any better. If you liked him that much then pick him at 7. I like Fears but not more than Dybantsa, Boozer or Peterson in this draft.

Dumars has to be fired before the season is over. This is inexcusable.

The entire league knew the hard on that Weaver/Dumars had for DQ and took advantage of that. There was no reason to make that trade during the finals.

Congrats, I guess? %99 of the board hated the trade.

I mean anyone who isn’t a homer who follows basketball knew the Dumars hire was awful.

He’s proved us right.

I didn't like the trade but still believe it has been overblown. We are talking about a team that was playing in the Championship at the time. The bad luck and revionist history have helped exaggerate the melts.

- Was currently in the championship
- Hali was hurt not dead
- Championship run = add even more firepower the following season and get better

The fact that every single worse case scenario played out is more of a curse than some insanely stupid decision.

Furthermore, because Hali got hurt AND they got their pick back they purposely didn't resign Turner or add extra help. They chose to tank because of the pick. You do not see the same Pacers if we had their pick. It is not a 1 for 1 comparison of picks. Most of the freak outs refuse to acknowledge this.

Same thing with the DJ trade. I was Dyson's biggest defender and STILL agree you do that trade. Just because we are cursed and DJ had a freak accident doesn't just make that a bad trade. That's all revisionist shite and doesn't have anything to do with the decision making when the trades were made. DJ is still better than Dyson, Fears, or the 2 future picks that can't be compared and he's only played 44 games.

You want to know where we really fricked up that many of you won't have the balls to admit? We should have traded CJ's arse and kept BI and I supported that.

None of the first 3 trades were bad or crazy in theory. The only trade that WAS bad in theory may end up being the best trade (Queen).

That’s the funniest thing to me. Joe had to have seen the media headlines clowning us for hiring him and then he goes and immediately proves them all right by making one of the worst trades in history. What did Joe think of the headlines clowning him again after the draft trade? He must be one of those people that has their head so far up their own arse that they think they know more than everyone else

David Griffin is the reason Zion is still on the team

Not sure if you were one of the ones, but even without Hali and Turner, it was being said they were still a playoff team on here. So now they were purposely tanking lol? I think Turner leaving suprised them.

What other moves could they make to try and win even without their pick? No reason to try and win with Hali out. They woukd have been like us this year. No hope to improve and no pick regardless….

It was one of the most brain dead retarded trades to pull the trigger on it that early. No reason for it. And the media needs to hammer Dumars on it.

He should never have been hired, but everyone who has any knowledge of his past would know that, except for Gayle and her lap dogs.

Griff sucked because he fence sat and never made a big move either trading for an elite player or trading Zion or BI when they had good value to do a rebuild.

Dumars completely fricked up in the few months he started his job.

Keeping Willie
Trading the pacers pick while they’re still playing
And everything else shamit posted.

He’s a franchise killer
