After long and difficult negotiations with Senators, Congressmen, Secretaries, and other Political Representatives, I have determined that, for the Good of our Country, especially in these very troubled and dangerous times, our Military Budget for the year 2027 should not be $1 Trillion Dollars, but rather $1.5 Trillion Dollars.

We need to replenish stocks that were given to Ukraine, so there is that to do

If we left Europe and those ungrateful shitbags across the pond, we could reallocate that funding.
Problem solved.
Problem solved.

Love it. It’s a good start, but I’d love to see us increase it to about $3 trillion soon.

It's wild how we can find (borrow) an extra half trillion dollars out of the blue and the debt hawks on this board be ok with it.

Has nothing to do with Ukraine. Our navy will get most of it.

How you folks can continue to believe that Deep State Donnie is on our side is more baffling to me than the Obamabots (still to this day) believe he was on our side as well.

It all depends on if war with China is on the table.
That said, we used the threat of war to bankrupt the Soviets...

Given current data, China’s military expenditure in PPP terms is estimated to be $541 billion, or 59% of US spending, and its equipment levels are only 42% of US levels.
Keep it going and it isn't anyone else but us who will be bankrupt.
I never understood why defense spending is the GOP sacred cow.

Rare earths needed to do so make that somewhat of a challenge (China is a-hole).

Well shite
If SCOTUS turns off the tariff revenue tomorrow that's never going to happen.
There's no money to pay for that and for all the fraud.

Yea we run the risk of being the Soviets in this situation.

Nobody mentioned day cares.

1) there are no Soviets
2) no country on Earth stands an honest chance of any beach head on our soil
3) no country or collection of countries stand any chance against us in conventional war
4) stop the fear.

I thought we were gonna reign in spending and attack the debt. Muh DOGE and such?

Yep, clearly gearing up for war. I don't like it. At this point, I'm not feeling encouraged to vote for anyone in this country going forward. You have globalist bolsheviks on one side and global empire on the other. Either way, American citizens are going to get fricked hard.

Meanwhile, in some weird twist of fate, it appears that the Somalis are the only people in the country looking out for their own best interests.
ETA: Mostly joking, of course......like 85% joking.

Its because most posters here have no principles or ideals of their own and are just playing follow the leader.
