The NBA can do whatever it wants. People aren’t leaving.
In the days of Covid, scores of redneck fans in Oklahoma City swore they’d never attend a game again after the team publicly supported Black Lives Matter. Seriously? You think a team in the NBA would not publicly support BLM?
Then the fans swore another lifetime boycott after the team required masks and proof of vaccination to enter the building. Oh, were those fans upset.
Fast forward a few years and a championship later and I don’t see many empty seats or a lack of rednecks in the arena. Team seems to be as popular as ever.
