It doesn’t mean more in the SEC! And in games not against SEC opponents they finish 2-7 in bowl games and 1-1 in the CFP.

It’s a combination of
1)the GOAT retiring
2)the portal and NIL making where you can’t stack rosters
3)the conference moving to finesse offenses that don’t hold up when the going gets tough. This league was built by physicality and doesn’t really have that anymore.

That said as an LSU fan I’m just fine with the rest of the SEC missing out.

It's gonna be worse moving forward with the SEC playing 9 conference games. Gonna take a special team to go undefeated.

1-3, not 1-1. And the win was against Tulane.
