SEC has gotten too finesse. Ole Miss hadn’t seen that level of physicality all year. Not a team in this conference can match Miami and Indiana on the lines.

The perceived strength of the conference helps more conference teams get into the playoffs. Which would include LSU when we are good enough to be considered.
You don’t see NFL teams doing it because there is no committee figuring out if the falcons are better than the commanders. It’s set criteria.

The SEC hasn't made the championship game in 3 years. Look at the recruiting rankings now too. The B1G was just a bullshite narrative, but now kids are believing in it. That directly negatively impacts the SEC and LSU.

You may not give a shite about the SEC, but the rest of the country damn sure does, and they are raining down hell on it right now. They want this conference buried completely.
It will affect TV contracts, recruiting, and ultimately whether your team gets in the playoff with a couple losses.
Until the SEC gets more physical, it will be relegated to ACC or Big-12 status.

Exactly; it’s decided on the field now, you want your conference to be good. Which I’m ok with, but to want one team to win the natty that’s asinine.
Say OM would’ve won the natty this year, has no relevance on LSU next year. They aren’t the same team.
