Add enough mediocre games and the audience will sleep through them and then forget to turn them on. Advertisers will notice. Right now d'd few advertisers bother to show more than two or tree different ads through the bowl series. It could be worse.

I’d rather 2 8 team divisions. The winners get a bye, and 2 wildcards from each in a 3 game series. Then the divisional round in 5, and the Championship Series in 7.

ETA: I'm for expansion generally. But everything is a monkey's paw with Manfred. Anything good comes with a high cost that fundamentally weakens the future of the game.

Exactly. And it would make it more fair because it would be less likely you have an 87-win division champ get homefield over a wildcard team with way more wins (which happens a lot now).

Yep, I’m pretty much done with MLB and pro sports in general. I’ll get my baseball fix from the Gateway Grizzlies.
