You broncs are wearing my arse out with this recruiting drama. I’m damn near 80 and it’s hard to keep up with you young whippersnappers.

And I love every minute of it. Thank y’all.

I remember sitting in a parking lot with my dad and brothers and daddy threatening to kill us if we didn’t shut up so he could hear the broadcast of LSU-Ole Miss. I don’t know why he got so excited. Some guy for LSU fielded a punt deep in Tiger territory and managed to run it back for a touchdown. Guy’s name was Billy something.

Seriously, we were at an all night cafe parking lot in Armistead, LA on our way to visit a relative in Mansfield. My pop really wasn’t much of a football fan, he worked all the damn time in the oilfield. But he was a Tiger fan.

I remember that night like it was yesterday. That and the JFK assassination and Ruby killing Oswald, I remembers every detail of.

Love it! Only 80-year-old LSU fans know how to use recruiting boards!

Need a friend? I’m only 53 but I’m a good listener and a better story teller.

I’m almost 75. Remember listening to it with my dad on KWKH radio out of Shreveport. I am still passionate about my Tigers. I don’t post much but read Tigerdroppings and Dandy Don everyday. My wife can’t understand why I’m asleep every night by 7PM but can stay awake until midnight to watch LSU game. Still passionate about my wife to. Coming up on 50 years together.

Glad to see all of the Senior Tigers in here! My dad passed in July of '24. He would've been 77 this April.

KWKH was the station alright. We’d listen to KEEL when we could get a signal but KWKH might have been the only north LA station to carry LSU. On occasion we’d catch something on WWL in NOLA. My poor old grandmother loved her some Pete Fountain from the Blue Room at the Roosevelt Hotel.
