The anniversary of 1/9/12 had me wondering—Which debacle hurts more, the last half of the 2025 fb season or that turrible game on national TV 14 years ago?

I remember 1/9 like it was yesterday. The pain from watching that game will never go away. I already forgot who we lost to last year.

You must have been to young to remember. There was 3 months or so after that night where I felt like I had some type of hangover. Didn't want to see, hear or talk about anything LSU football.

This year and that year were similar in that we leaned on elite defenses but you knew it was coming in the sense that defenses can only take you so far. That championship game hurt and left some scar tissue.
This is why everyone knew to immediately call CBK out on his bullshite when the offense started sputtering this year and he talked about playing to your strengths. Been there, done that dude. You are getting paid millions, don’t talk down to us fans when we’ve already seen how this is gonna play out.

The year after the 2019 Natty season was worse than 2025 IMO. There was no bump from that season and it led to the current situation because of laziness by coaches

There was 8 years of pain after 1/9. The sense of dread every early November knowing we were cursed. CEH had to put the state on his back to end the nightmare. What a stupid question.

1/9/12 is like the real life equivalent of the recurring dream where you’re naked in class or you show up to class and there’s a test that you forgot… except they’re both happening at the same time.
