Incredibly happy that Caden Durham is back

I know people have opinions on him. And I know CFB is different now. But I’ve been watching him since he was in high school here in Dallas and he’s been all LSU for years. Only ever wanted to be at LSU. Wore LSU gloves every game in high school.
I just still like it when a kid stays at the place he always wanted to be. And I think he can still be a great LSU running back.

You will see such a difference without Frank.

Just hope he takes the time to get fully healthy so he can get his speed back because it’s not there. I think he needs to get fully healthy and drop a few lbs

It all comes down to his health. He's a great back when healthy. It's a better team with him on it.

The amount of people that have shite on CD is ridiculous in my opinion. Was considered one of the top returning freshman this past year. He had a bad RB coach and an even worse line that even a 5-star could barely get yards behind. I have a feeling Durham is going to have a massive year upcoming and will be critical to our team’s success.

I’m just gonna trust that Kiffins offensive system and Kevin Smith can transform Durham into the RB he was hyped up to be out of high school. I think they can especially if CD can get back to 100% healthy

He gave us 100% on every play and I am likewise happy. I think he will thrive in Coach Kiffins offense

Hope he gets his speed and vision back

Hurt both years and didn’t complain. A healthy year without Frank and it’ll be night and day.

I noticed in his highlights he often had LSU gear on. I am glad he is back as well.

I think you see a big difference in both Durham and Berry next season.
Durham needs to get healthy. Berry needs to stay in the weight room to help protect the ball and pass block.
The scheme will help both alot, regardless. Teams will have to pick their poison - pass, run, screen game, QB spy, etc - while the OC picks the looks apart.
The backfield is in good hands with Weis and Smith.

Proud to watch him rep LSU. He has had a strong career, and I believe he will finish stronger!

Needs to get healthy
He needs quicker feet or needs to break tackles. I’ll take one or the other but if he doesn’t improve on either then he won’t play much

Leavitt will also help open up the run game since he's a serious run threat too.

I wouldn’t hold this past season against him. Kid can ball…
Cluster of injuries, incompetent run blocking. A mess…
Durham/berry combo will be great for us next year imo

I love CD. Always have but having said that he hasn’t been great. Biggest thing for him is to get healthy and learn to have better vision. His vision is his biggest issue. He gets better at that and stays healthy I think CD can be awesome in this new system. Happy to have him back

I will say this right here right now. In Lanes Offense he will be the best RB on the roster next year. Maybe Berry will be right there with him.
Kid is special and something wasnt right with him this past year. He had to be hurt worse than the staff let on. He didnt have that burst we were use to seeing. And when he did get into the open field he didnt have that elite break away speed that he was timed at. 4.28 at a Bama camp I believe.
Hes a legit low 4.4 laser guy. He has the vision lets see what he does next year when we have a competent coach calling plays and an Oline thats being developed and held accountable

RB success is so much about scheme and setting the RB up for success. There is no RB in the country who was going to excel in Sloan’s scheme, if you could even call it that. His scheme required a Jayden Daniels level running QB.
