No one is threatening to indict the Fed Chairman. Now Rep.Tom Emmer and Lisa Merkowski look like they are guilty of something for freaking out the way they did.

The United States Attorney’s Office contacted the Federal Reserve on multiple occasions to discuss cost overruns and the chairman’s congressional testimony, but were ignored, necessitating the use of legal process—which is not a threat. The word “indictment” has come out of Mr. Powell’s mouth, no one else’s. None of this would have happened if they had just responded to our outreach. This office makes decisions based on the merits, nothing more and nothing less. We agree with the chairman of the Federal Reserve that no one is above the law, and that is why we expect his full cooperation.

They all use the same defense, "Trump political prosecution". They need a second edition of their excuse playbook.

Why, the media responds to their dog whistles the same way every time: Orange Man bad! He's a dictator! He must be stopped at all costs!

So who is acting like they are above the law here?

DC swamp creatures and their willing media allies once again mislead the American people.

I want a media outlet to dig deeper and cover this objectively. I’m tired of the fear mongering clickbait that Trump is a dictator. He’s pushing the limits of presidential power, but let’s call things like they are instead of getting everyone worked up over what could be false narratives.

The FBI investigates crimes. They don’t discuss cost overruns. That’s for Congress.

Quit ignoring the actual point.

Why ever would the Fed meet with the FBI about cost overruns?

Who overreacted and came out to defend their position?

Why would he ever meet with the FBI about his congressional testimony? For what purpose?

For years Congress has used an administrative state to neuter the POTUS. Now we have a brilliant mind with backbone as POTUS, who clearly understands what the US Constitution has to say about the POTUS.
It will be over soon. The American people will soon reap the benefits of their own while those who wish to rape and pillage America wither on the vine.
It Will Be GLORIOUS!!

Cost overruns are not something the AG or USAttorney begins an investigation on. GAO or in this case REGS does it then goes to the appropriate Congressional Committee and if they find wrong doing , then they refer it to Justice.
They are skipping important investigative steps that are necessary.

Unless they suspect crimes associated with the cost overruns. They know more than you know.
Give me a break. Like congress can get to the bottom of anything?

This cost overrun is rather LARGE!
Plus you have sitting GOPe congress men and women screeching over it. I thought you would be giddy at the thought of them possibly being implicated.
I don’t care who it is. You steal taxes, you need to go to jail.

There are no allegations of theft.
