Sounds like another mediocre GOT project on the way.

Jumanji and Top Gun are like %50 on Rotten Tomatoes, people are dumb.

I would imagine people just weren't expecting it to have as much comedic relief as it probably will have. Just completely different from what people are used to.

I may be completely wrong and it is just meh, but I feel like this will probably be the best Westeros stuff we have gotten since seasons 1-4 of GoT.

The article linked in the tweet gave it rave reviews.

Yeah 80% is more than good enough to reserve judgment until you see it yourself. That’s well within the sort of margin of error for a really good show with just a few reviewers not really getting it

I love how they’re gonna stretch this story out for multiple season. And probably take 2-3 years in between. And the episodes are what? 30 minutes?

I read the books, got pissed off when i realized the fat f*&$k would never finish them, started the series and just could never get into it. I'm not sure if it was from the let down of the books, knowing the plot, or the fact that the battle scenes were largely left off screen.

6 episodes @ 45 min each according to da interweb

I'm hoping this will move faster. I'm looking forward to it.

It’s a very short book at 160 pages. Not much you can use to increase the episodes or run time.

HBO probably gave them a small budget seeing as it is being sold

They shoulda brought in Sheridan to fluff that thing up to 12.

You haven’t lived until you’ve see a dragon running at full speed and then come to a dead stop as it slides on its shins. Would Sheridan shoehorn himself into a role as a Lannister?

I am more curious as to how Sheridan would implement the gratuitous sex scenes, he usually has some smoke shows.

I'm not taking any reviewer's word for it. It's only a few more days until I see for myself, but it has gotten several good reviews from YouTubers.

The first three books were some of the most unique, fast paced, and great reads in the last 100 years. But after that man it all went down hill and he lost his way. The last two books were not near as good and I don't think he knows how to finish the story

The Dunk and Egg books were decent though because they were short and he didn't have to comb over 4000 pages of past lore he created on a whim to keep all the loose ends tied. So Ill give it a shot but I'm not hopeful.

I’m anticipating this being good. There are 3 short stories with these characters and each would make a good season of TV.

These characters are a little easier to pull for than many GOT characters and at least the short stories were more good vs bad and not so complicated and lore driven as the original books or House of the Dragon.

It also helps producers that each of the short stories has a complete ending.

Every trailer or behind the scenes clip I've seen has given me every reason to believe that it's going to be great. I think it being smaller budget helps, creative people do good things when it's time to do more with less.

Maybe I’m alone in thinking the trailers look very meh

Cringy jokes and lighthearted fun. Nah I’m good
