Fable 4: November 2026 - Will it happen?

Fable was one of my favorite Xbox games when it came out. I played it several times all the way through. Good times!
I purchased Fable 2 when it came out. I enjoyed it. But not as much as one. Fable 3 was horrible. I never played Heroes or The Journey.
I'd buy this if it actually comes out just for nostalgia purposes.

Fable 4 was supposed to be released in 2020. This trailer is from 2024.

Is the main character still hideous?
This game is DOA because of the original pictures of the chick. Even if they made her look better, I think the original perception is going to kill sales.
I don't care about that but I do find it odd you would make a main character straight up ugly.
What I care about is how long it took to make this game. I get the same feeling I had with Bloodlines 2. Aimless development.

Just look at the response to the release date. There is none. Nobody here cares. They took way too long in development and released that disastrous picture. This one might be more dead on arrival than Outer Worlds 2.

Could you create a character in the old ones? Only thing I remember about the game is my guy having all the STDs available at that time.

Honestly my favorite “modern” game series by a lot as I’m a pretty casual game player. Not a fan of dark souls type games and things like that. Whole reason I bought a series x like 5 years ago

Fable always felt more like a proof of concept for whatever goofy fantasy shite that Peter molyneux had in his head in a given development cycle rather than a fully formed product.
He always over promised and mostly under delivered. I could appreciate the charm of what he delivered but it never left me wanting more.

What a stupid thing to say. Have you ever played Fable before or even read a single thing about it? You create your own character. There were several different character models in the teaser.

Looks interesting. The style kinda reminds me of Witcher 3 in a way...if that makes sense. Would be impressive to stick the landing after fable 2 released almost 20 years ago! crazy.

That's the point. He responded to a post from a week ago about a teaser that was released yesterday. Even though there was already a thread about the developer direct where this teaser was released and we were discussing how we're glad they finally announced character creation would be possible.
