In Dallas the traffic isn't that bad because they steal your tires.

Yeah I believe it. West loop is a shite show pretty much 24/7.

Invalid metrics. The entire interstate system in San Antonio, including but not limited to I-35 to Austin, is under construction and has been so for over two years. It is a complete clusterfrick.

That segment on 610 between I-10 and 59 has been #1 in Texas and top 5 in the US since I lived here. Still # 5 now according to the USDoT at least since last year. 2026 not out yet.

I can attest as I'm sure the other Texas TDers can, its a nightmare. I avoid it like the plague.

So the largest city in the state has the most congested roads? Fascinating.

I travel #1 every Tuesday and Thursday morning. It’s always packed. A few weeks ago I had to drop off someone at Bush airport and Waze brought me home via hardy tool road to the north loop and then the west loop. Was prepared for a shite show - never slowed down down lower than 55moh from 1-10 to 59. Craziest thing I’ve ever seen.

Impossible, the people of baton rouge cry like babies because they think their traffic is bad. They love to cite Texas as the traffic promise land.

Problem is they are full of Texas drivers.

Left lanes are probably backed up for miles while the right lane is wide open.

Thank you for posting that. Every so often I miss living in west Houston: the stores and the restaurants and the people who were friends.
I know way too many of those segments in the top thirty.
