According to the NOPD, the students, who attended a school that serves pre-K to 8th-grade children, were found on the bus in the 7000 block of Bullard Avenue. The driver was not with the bus. Police say there was an altercation between the bus driver and at least one student. The driver pulled over and left the bus. The driver is still being sought. The investigation is being handled by the NOPD's Child Abuse Division.

Nothing's shocking anymore. It's like reading news from Mogadishu.

Don’t blame him. If I had to put up with those kids, I’d walk off too. Nice touch just Leaving them on the side of the road tho

Not shocked. Not even slightly.

Those kids didn't sell that bus to a chop shop?

It's typically best to walk away when you feel like choking somebody out!

How old were these "children"?

Important question imo

Again - New Orleans East needs its own board. Everyday is comedy out there.
But honestly I’m going to bet many here will be on the bus drivers side. I sympathize with her.

You could have 16 year olds on that bus. Possibly older.

I'm guessing anywhere from 5 to 18.

Getting off the bus on Bullard is very risky behavior. I hope the bus driver is ok.
