LSU is going to make Wade turn them down. That is a 100% certainty.
Some may not like that. But it IS the case. If nothing else, the moment Woodward was fired Wade immediately because eligible for a raise at NC State. That was the last impediment on the LSU side for a potential reunion.

I wasn’t around for the golden era of LSU basketball in 80-90s and even the John Brady years. Wade is the closest I’ve seen to bringing “Golden years” to LSU basketball in my lifetime. I’ll never forgive Woodward for bending the knee.

You don't need to direct this statement at me. You need to tell the people who have the means to make it happen that WANT to make it happen.
There was a behind the scenes push by connected people to make it happen at the end of last season. The admin (Tate/Woodward) were adamantly opposed. THAT is why McMahon is still the HC. So the people who wanted Wade last year "fixed the glitch" and helped push Tate and Woodward out.
From LSU's standpoint, the admin is not opposed to a reunion. And if that is what the donors and fans want (and they do), the admin is going to pursue it. Wade may very well say "no thanks". But it won't be because LSU doesn't ask.

I could see him doing it. It would allow him to give the middle finger to Woodward. I don’t know if that is enough of a reason though.

We’ve embraced being the big bad wolf under Verge already. And we’ve got a decent amount of higher up staff that came from McNeese.

depends on if he views it as a better job
the man that tossed him under the bus is gone and he knows people here have wanted him back (fans included) since being dismissed so I doubt he has any spite towards the school itself
