Good, as he should.

It's ridiculous. I was concerned if it went to a Mississippi judge they would have some bias.

I'll admit I would be all for it if he was coming to LSU, but that doesn't make it right.

I’m surprised he hasn’t just declared yet. If he sneaks into back of first round or early 2nd he’s getting more guaranteed money than. 1 year NIL bag plus a year sooner towards 2nd nfl contract if he pans out.

I know many doubt him at the NFL level, but the QBs are really bad on paper this class. Especially with Moore returning.

He actually could be a 2nd rounder if not better. Right?

I was watching Locked on SEC last night and they said he doesn't have to declare by the recent date, because he technically used up all his eligibility.

He can let the NFL know by April or something.

I think he should just make it official though.

I think baring some major flaw that got exposed pre-draft, he will go in the Dart-Shough range. Just way more demand than supply. I think he was better this year than Dart ever was. I know he’s small but if he looks like the best player on the field against UGA’s D then I have no reason to doubt he can translate to the NFL. If you can play you can play, he’s a baller. Kinda reminds me of Purdy.

The doubting is ludicrous. Chambliss is so reminiscent of Wisconsin's Russell Wilson, who had similar accuracy/ball-location, escapabilty/play-extension, & clutch playmaking, yet Wilson wasn't picked until the 3rd round bc of his less than ideal size.

frick dellenger
quote:

LSU Athletic Director Verge Ausberry addressed the leak of LSU's NIL offer to quarterback recruit Will Sorsby, reportedly saying that such leaks are "unfortunate" and that the media member who published it might face difficulty getting information from LSU sources in the future.

Ausberry's comments were made during an interview where he discussed navigating the complexities of the new Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) landscape in college sports. One sports media figure noted that both he and Ausberry saw the leak of the contract information by reporter Ross Dellenger in a similar negative light.

The leak appears to have caused some friction, with the sentiment being that Dellenger "is not a friend" of the LSU athletic department, and that the university's staff might be less inclined to provide him with information moving forward.

The news of the leaked offer came amidst a period of significant administrative turnover at LSU, including the firing of head coach Brian Kelly and the departure of former AD Scott Woodward. The university has been trying to project stability, and the leak was seen by some as an unwelcome distraction.

Same. The issue isn’t the reporter doing his job, it’s the source of the leak.

I really don’t get the hate for the NCAA by everyday fan. Yes, they screwed some things up, and played favorites at times, but there has to be some organization in charge of the College athletics.
