Jennifer Cruz was arrested outside Mi Pueblo, a Mexican grocery store and meat market in Jacksonville, Tuesday morning after she allegedly jumped out of her car and punched a state trooper in the face while officers were working with Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents, Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier said in a post on X.
“Jennifer disagrees with immigration enforcement and decided to commit a few felonies by getting out of her car and punching a trooper in the face,” Uthmeier wrote.

Officers should be able to hit back with equal force with no consequences. Teach these loons they can't assult LEO.

Only blue states act like blue state Minnesota. They are the minority in a USA election map. Yet the Media shows them as the majority.

I would believe in Florida there would not be any consequences if the officer(s) used a more aggressive force against her. Hell, even in Minneapolis, I wouldn't think ICE agents would face any consequences. Just shows the restraints these officers have at times.

While I do and we all should realize there are limits, there are many sheriffs that would not blink twice at more force being used.
More importantly in Florida, law enforcement and cities are under orders to assist ICE in apprehension or lose state funds. Orlando (very liberal) was a perfect example. Mayor started to fight back and then came out and said it needed to assist or lose funding.
