Who else thinks Lane still pulls in another qb?

Not a big splash but developmental guy that has 3 years or more left that is a better camp arm option than a walkon. I have a feeling he will. With starter down you need multiple guys for spring ball if nothing else so you don’t wear down your top two available guys with excessive throws

Yep. No reason to throw money there. There can be zero complaints about the portal. Complaining can start if we lose to Clemson.

Serves no purpose to do that. You have your starter, a serviceable backup and then the future at 3rd string.

I think he wants 4 QB’s. There really are not any walk ons any more, with the 105. I doubt we would not award a scholarship to a kid if we are below the 105. So any current walk on we keep will probably have a scholarship. I understand we cannot have more than 105 players period.

I actually think he pulls in one more, myself. Having four scholarship QBs on the roster isn’t overkill.

If so, it'll probably be post-spring. It won't be anybody of any consequence. It'll be somebody that is still in the portal going into the summer. No more than a camp arm.
