He's slowly becoming a bit of a folk hero up here. Couple of excerpts.

quote:

As the Patriots move forward under coach Mike Vrabel in search of foundational building blocks for the program’s long-term future, Campbell has emerged as another face of the franchise alongside Maye. His Southern drawl, team-first attitude, and dry sense of humor almost instantly won over the locker room and the coaching staff.

To kick off the team’s weekly squad meeting on Fridays, as part of his effort to add, in his words, “a little spice of life,” Vrabel asked Campbell to deliver a “Saturday Night Live” Weekend Update-esque routine in which he cracks jokes and recaps the week. Campbell, who said he works on it for an hour or so each Friday, has embraced the role, even if his monologue doesn’t always elicit a proper reception.

Love Will as a player and leader. With that, the Texans are going to abuse him and his fellow linemen unless Maye can get the ball out of his hand in less than 2 seconds. The Texans might have one of the best duos in the the NFL at pressure and defending the edge in Anderson Jr and former Tiger Danielle Hunter. Maye will be running for his life. Hunter, if he stays healthy and plays a 4 more years at this level could be a Hall of Famer. His sack total could be in the 165 range for his career and be ranked 4th all time. That would be insane for the game today versus when people like Smith, Jones, White, Greene and Peppers played.

he was left tackle of a Heisman Trophy winner and the second best offense in the history of LSU football. You can say this or that but they beat everyone that season with a mediocre defense. That offense was electric and those losses had nothing to do with Will and company.

BKs most pivotal decision in his LSU career was letting Baker and Raymond walk his first season. Otherwise, 2023 and 2024 could have been special seasons. Raymond recruiting in talent and LSU giving more to NIL would have started an avalanche of talent with a Title run in 2023. The OC may not have left in fact and players would have come in droves even more than they did with the portal classes he signed.
Have a downvote.

NE has been a good story this year…though they’ve caught a lot of scheduling breaks. But the Houston defense is tremendous. If Stroud can be anything less than awful I think they win the game

Danielle Hunter should get some reps against Campbell. Should be fun to watch.

I just checked the weather and it could be nasty with 4” of snow during the game and everything else. If that is the case, New England will win this game because you have to figure the pass rush is going to slow down as footing will impact the speed of the game. At least that’s what I’m thinking.

That LSU defense didn't even sniff mediocre. If they had, who knows what the outcome may have been.

I think he will be lined up versus the right tackle. Anderson Jr and Campbell have a history with him beating Will for a sack or 2 in college. I know Will didn’t give up but a few.

He had another similar quote about playing the chargers last week

To the effect of “that’s 300 million dollars worth of pass rush on the other side, they’re going to win every once in a while”
