The Hypocrisy Of The Media Seen In..

Their lack of coverage of others who have left one school for another and took players with them to their new school.
Curt Cignetti took 31 players from JMU to Indiana. YET no one bothers to mention it.
Why do they not mention it? They are the "Golden Child" of the BIG whom they want to compare to the LSU team of 2019. I hope the Canes destroy theml
Matt Campbell took 20 from Iowa St. to Penn State.
Why is this not mentioned? The utter hatred and contempt the media has for Lane Kiffin. Everything he does is examined under the microscope of envy and jealousy!
As for me...I like it...Lets be the Villians!!!

Lane is already a high profile, polarizing figure and the LSU brand is quite a few steps above Indiana and at least a step or two above Penn State. Also Ole Miss is a historical rival, which adds another layer to it

The one that’s annoying me more is the lack of outrage over Mensah at Duke. Demond was made out to be a POS and LSU with him because he reportedly had signed a deal and wanted out after. Miami straight out in the open tampered because the market quality was so slim. Don’t fault them but Miami isn’t catching any flak that I have seen for this.
Every team tampers but the fact that it’s clear as day LSU is being singled out because they destroyed OM’s foundation is just dumb. Oh well I guess just embrace the villain role. Winning will create more whining and tears. I’m all for it!

I get the aggravation behind all the hypocrisy but it’s just to get clicks and create outrage because that’s the world we live in now. Look at the media outside of even the sports media. It’s not about the truth or telling both sides of an argument. It’s all opinion based to create a bias or a certain narrative. We are gonna have to wear the “everything that’s wrong with college football crown” for a few years and all you can do is embrace it with middle fingers up.

I see your point but it definitely wasn’t 31 JMU transfers. It was around 13. Still enough to decimate a roster though.

Not that I care, but the fact that Kiffin left a playoff team has something to do with it. Not sure why you left that part out.

Doesn’t really bother me. Think Lane enjoys the “villain” role. Makes his trolling even more enjoyable. It is kind of silly though as we have only gotten 3 players from Ole Miss with a possibility of a 4th coming in Prince. Unless others appear in the portal in next two days if some have said they were going in to portal and Ole Miss is stalling until last minute with submitting paperwork
