That rope had no chance, bet they turned themselves in to ICE to avoid paying for damages.

r/FellingGoneWild is a good time killer. It is amazing how often people frick up cutting trees.

It is also where I learned that Tennessee is using some post-Apocalyptic looking giant saw contraption dangling from a helicopter to trim trees near hard-to-access powerlines.

Just take a bucket truck and work from the top down.

I saw one in action last summer the railroad was using one up here to trim along the tracks. Took us a minute to figure out what the hell it was.

If you ever cut trees before, when you are dealing with that much weight, even the best planning sometimes doesn’t work.

If part of the tree that wasn’t supposed to give, gives, the tree is gonna go in whatever direction things went wrong.

All companies that are “the best” have had trees go the wrong way

Can't wait to see it in theaters. On the screen, of course.

There was no plan there. Using a fricking rope is moronic, at best.

Here's a hint, how many tow trucks use rope in their winch?

My tree guys would climb up that tree like raccoons on meth and start from the top down. It is pretty wild to watch them work.
