Without stacking physical bars in the garage?

Multiple signs are pointing to a massive shortage in copper as the AI boom continues..

TIA

VALE has been killing it the last year, and the dividends can’t be beat.

They mostly mine iron for China, but they’ve been steadily increasing their copper and silver output.

Downside risk is Brazilian corruption.

Maybe an ETF?

Need to confirm the correlation between the ETF and copper to be sure it’s reliable.

SPHCF holds physical copper if you'd rather do that than futures index CPER.

Those pennies just may be worth a cent (or 2) after all.

If you want the full ride go with COPX. High volatility. You might get your face ripped off. If you want my favorite name in the space that has a little volatility but nothing crazy, SCCO is great. For general copper adjacent exposure with little volatility, BHP is solid.

They're actually worth about 4 cents as I type this. I have a ton of pre-82 pennies that I've collected over the years.

I'd actually consider stacking a little Copper bullion if space wasn't an issue and the premiums weren't retarded.

I've always thought it was a beautiful metal.

You can really see some of it's worth when metal detecting. You can pull pre 82 pennies out of the ground that are still looking good after years of being buried. With modern zinc clad pennies, not so much. They start getting eaten away by the earth very quickly.

I have some wheat pennies in rolls. Copper bullion sounds interesting. I guess to justify you would have to conclude silver has maxed out its gains and maybe copper has some legs to it.

It's a juxtaposition eh. Though, it's best to remember that most Silver pulled from the ground is a byproduct of Copper mining.

I don't believe this is even close to true yet.

Thanks for all the input fellas. I have some research to do.

Sprott Physical Copper Trust which trades on the OTC Markets holds 12,699 metric tons of copper. Ticker on OTC Markets is SPHCF. It's COP.U on the TSX. It's a unit trust and recently it traded at a 3% discount according to Sprott. Sprott had a premium/discount chart and it's interesting. As recently as last summer it trading at 20ish% discounts. It only started trading on the OTC market 9 months ago and Morningstar isn't following it yet. Yahoo finance and MSN Money quote it but not much info other than that.
