Not that I’m the worlds biggest Mina Kimes apologist, but when you trade away a guy who was in that upper tier of qbs for three seasons, thats not a ridiculous thing to say.

Was Darnold available at the time she tweeted that? In hindsight it was a cold take, but not necessarily crazy if people still thought the Vikings were keeping Darnold. Even then, Darnold was all but written off before his year with the Vikings and Geno had been performing in Seattle, wasn't a guarantee that he would be an upgrade.

You’re acting like anyone thought going with Sam Darnold would be a brilliant decision. The chances of upgrading on Smith were low, clearly worked out but this wasn’t a bad opinion.

Mina Kimes is an installed plant that knows NOTHING about football. Every 5'3" 115 pound Korean woman is a genius about the game of football. She is a complete blithering idiot whenever she opens her mouth about the game, but hey, ESPN says she is an authority on the subject. Just like the other clowns they employ - Cam Newton, Dan Orlovsky, Ryan Clark, Kendrick Perkins, SAS.
