How low IQ does one have to be to enjoy Mardi Gras?

Group texts with my Louisiana folks are starting to buzz with plans for Mardi Gras parades.
Just cannot imagine at 30+ years old taking the wife and kids to stand on the streets with loud arse music, next to drunk idiots, to stand there while other drunk idiots throw things at you.
Was it fun as a single 20 year old college kid? Sure.
At this point in life, I would have to be paid to attend a parade

Judging from your thread title and your following post, how much has your IQ grown since your early 20's? I'm not sure you know what IQ is or how to have fun in different ways.
Chill out.
Chill out.

I empathize with you. So now, I ride on a float above the crowd with friends and end up at a cool party at the end of the night.

Don’t worry, folks! This angry guy is saving his post for later tonight to tell us how exciting his life is, and what is approved and acceptable fun.
As he’s typing his post, he actually is secretly stuffing his face with king cake.

I work too much and all my friends that lived in NOLA have moved out of there by now. Otherwise id still enjoy Mardi Gras. The parades are fun.

I just go for hang out, eats and drinks with friends with the parade as a fun event to be around.

Why not make these comments to the people on the group texts?
It’s because you’re a pussy arse coward who talks behind other people’s backs. Grow a pair.

I doubt they had dropped back when he was 20, single, and lower IQ.

Obviously you have only watched a parade on St. Charles and Amelia. Lots of drunk frat boys there. Try watching Thoth a block from Henry’s on a crisp Sunday. All families, friends and generally just nice people. No one is slobbering drunk or obnoxious. Thot Sunday may be one of my favorite days of the year.

It used to be different back in the day. Went to it right after Katrina. It was a throwback to how it used to be.
