All he does is win. From the SEC to the Southland to the ACC. He has to be the favorite for ACC coach of the year. He loves a good challenge and he always succeeds

Of course LSU hires an amazing coach only for him to get busted for something that was already prevalent and is now just blatantly out in the open a few years later. I miss the general.

From another post in another thread regarding Self and the double standard, I'm going to copy and paste - the Wade haters always belittle WW when it any comparison to Self - saying there is not comparison.....well actually...
Self didn't make a Final Four until the age of 45. WW is still just 43 and had to deal with issues Self did not that altered his trajectory which point to hypocrisy and a double standard, but I digress.
Self was 38 before he won a major conference championship, and went to his first NCAA tournament at age 36. Wade won the SEC title at LSU at age 36 and had made the NCAA tournament 3 times with 3 different teams by that age and went to his first NCAA tournament at the age of 34 in his 3rd season as a head coach, while it took self until his sixth season coaching to make the big dance.
Both coaches won conference championships at smaller conferences before they moved on to Kansas and LSU respectively - Self at Tulsa at the age of 36 and WW at VCU at the age of 34.
So before you say Bill Self is 10 times better a coach, like I see so many times when this comes up, well at this moment in time yes he has more skins on the wall yes, but in context - in real time at the same times in each of their careers in a direct age and years coached comparison....pretty damn close - in fact - real close, in fact a very good argument could be made WW was more accomplished at the same age and years as head coach.

Only one win against a ranked team this year, in overtime, against the #20 team in the country. 7/8 conference wins are against the bottom half of the ACC. Six ACC teams have overall records below .500.
They still have to play Louisville, Miami, North Carolina, Virginia, and Duke which could easily all be losses.

The Clemson game was nuts.
he has NC State looking better than they have in a long time though
Final 4 run was still a mediocre regular season and they were gonna miss the tourney until they went on a run and won ACC tourney

I'm not commenting at all on the where the team is going, only where it is right now. Right now they're finishing up the weaker part of the their schedule and the bottom 1/3 to 1/2 of the ACC are really bad teams.
