Looking for ideas on how to mount TV to Steel beam

I’m trying to hang a tv under my pavilion without drilling into the galvanized. I’ve read that some people use Beam clamps + unistrut but no idea where to start on supplies for that. Open to all suggestions I’ll post the best pic I have of the beam

Why dont you want to drill into the beam?

Salt environment. Trying to prevent future rusting by drilling the galvanized coating.

I figured. Have you looked into magnetic mounts?

any electrical supply place will have the unistrut and clamps

Beam clamps and unistrut is the answer.

Lowes/Home Depot have some of these things as well.

Drill the beam. Get some cold galv spray and touch up the damaged coating. That column in the pic already has cold galv touch up on it so you will be fine. Hardware store should have it in aerosol spray can for under $10.

This is what I would do. Drill, tap, run stainless bolts, touch up with a little cold galv spray. Unistrut is going to rust so you'll be spraying it with something too.

Yes beam clamps, u-bolts, and unistrut(s) should do what you are wanting to do. You may even be able to find all of that in galvanized. I am suprised how cheap all of that stuff is…..

P1000s with P2787 beam clamps should be readily available.
UJD, do you have a mount picked out yet?

How big of a tv are you mounting? I don't know if its an option, but I have a tv on wheels for these types of things. If you have good storage, you could consider that.
TVs weigh almost nothing these days. You could put a 50" with just some sort of straps, I'm not suggesting to jerry rig it but...I'd think they would sell a not permanent clamp of some sort for this. But if its cold galvanized any sort of metal clamps will wear that off. As said they sell it in spray paint cans.

I would drill the holes in the column flange and if are really worried about future corrosion just cold galv, prime/paint, or seal them when you install the fasteners.
You wouldn't need very large holes I would think for a TV mount, 3/8" max for multiple 5/16" fasteners for the bracket (I assume the bracket would have 4-6 holes at a minimum).

They make tv mounts specifically for I-beams that don’t require drilling
