The Spanish American War in 1898 gave us Puerto Rico as a territory, and they have been a problem ever since.

Puerto Rico during most of the 20th century was America's version of the IRA. Despite most people's belief that January 6 was the worst attack on our capitol in history, that distinction goes to the Puerto Ricans.

You see in 1954, the Marxist Puerto Ricans stormed the House of Representatives and opened fire on Congress, wounding five Congressmen.

During the 70s, the FALN group worked with Weather Underground to bomb several places in the U.S.

Jimmy Carter commuted the sentences of the Capitol shooters and Clinton pardoned the FALN group.

Now, 50% of Puerto Ricans are on welfare.

We had an AFB there, but it closed down in the late 90's or so.

I lived in Ponce Puerto Rico 2 years in 1990 period. The island culture is 100% socialist, few people work and theft is rampant. My upscale rent house had window/door bars, AND hallway bars inside the house to provide additional safe zones.

the democrates want this for the rest of america

See, this is the kind of hyperbolic nonsense that you people always throw out there when someone criticizes your sacred cow du jour. Usually followed immediately by the "you're a racist!" mantra. It's so played out. Bad Bunny sucks donkey nuts, it is what it is.

Yep...the AFB closed, but we do still have 3 ANG bases there. We also have:

1 Naval Base - Roosevelt Roads Naval Station

1 Army Base - Fort Buchanan US Army Facility

have you been back recently? The reason I ask is the newer construction seems to be free of iron bars. The main drag through Arecibo looks like a typical mainland suburbia

A) I have not once defended bad bunny
B) it's your ilk crying out "raciiiiists" today
C) drawing a link between terrorism and the majority of Puerto Ricans is silly. Just say you want to cut them loose without the theatrics.

Get some new material. Or result to the grade school crap like your betters here.

I think it's very over-rated. It's a shithole.

I know the guys who purchased the old navy base in San Juan where they had the listening stations to hunt for soviet activity in the area. It's a business park now with a starlink ground station.
