for his 2024 Toyota Tundra. It states when they find the solution he will hear from them. After reading up on this issue the solution they are leaning to is they putting a new engine in. His truck has about 60,000 miles on it. If they put a new engine in, what is that going to do to the value of the truck?

I imagine it’d be worth more than a truck with a bad engine

Lower babytac's cash offer to $1700.

Ya boy putting 30k per year on his truck? Wouldn’t worry about resale if he’s going to keep it for a couple more years.
But as long as it’s the dealer doing the work and standing behind it, I’d think a broken in new motor would be a good thing or at least not negative

New engine is a good thing for those trucks

Should probably maximize value. If he can be without the truck for 2 months or so after he turns it over for the fix.

I have a 2025 that should be out of the engine replacement window. I've heard of guys waiting as long as they can before scheduling the new engine.

This is where I’m at with these engines. I’m gonna try and score a deal while others panic

Sell that piece of shite and buy a Toyota, 100% reliable 100% of the time.

At 70k on my 23 Tundra 1794. Felt a little vibration last week. Brought it to dealership. New engine going in at no cost to me. Can’t complain
