Anyone been successful in keeping stray cats off a back porch? Do the sprays work? Any other ideas besides trapping or shooting? Thanks.

I have had some luck scattering mothballs in pot plants that they were crapping in.

I dont know about Louisiana but nothing in Florida is afraid of those silly things

Neighbor put on on the corner of his pool cage to keep the other birds off and they first shite on his head when they sit on it then one of the craned knocked it off the cage so he could roost up there

Momma used to run them off with a broom. No that wasn't cats NM.

Only thing that works for me is unleashing my border collie. She hates cats with a passion.

Amazon sells some balls with a combo of very potent smells (that are not mothballs) that I think has worked so far. It’s like citrus, spearmint and a few other things. Had one presumably smelled the dogs and has been marking on my patio. Makes me livid that people have them outdoor in a neighborhood.
