We have done two of the rooftops in 30 A. Pescado's and The Pearl. We have also eaten at Gallion's.

Any recommendations?

Tommy Bahama has a cool bar & good food, Fleming’s Prime steak house is more upscale. Both are in the Grand Boulevard at Sandestin…

Beachwalk at the Henderson inn. If you're really swinging for the fences, they'll set you up out in the sand.

Shunk Oyster House. Not a rooftop but a large open patio, can catch a really nice breeze. Their seasonal grouper entree is usually a somewhat innovative hash of sorts including fresh vegetables and a nice pan sauce. It's a go-to for me when in the area.

Cafe 30A is good, also don’t sleep on the Tuscany Italian Bistro out front of Sandestin Hilton. It’s Italian owned and open for 35 years according to the owner, great classics and a few surprises.

Yeah, Guglielmo has been around Destin for a long while. Excellent food, but he will talk your damned ear off if you let him.

Tuscany is really good. It has become our favorite restaurant in the area the last couple of years. Bijoux next door is a great option as well.

Tuscany Italian Bistro. Order the lobster ravioli if they have it.

Ovide in the Hotel Effie and Bitterroot would be two high on my list. Tuscany is good, as well as the Marina Cafe.

Tuscany for Italian
Bijoux for French.

Both of those are right there.

Cafe Thirty-A if you feel like taking a little drive.

If they have short ribs in any form or fashion, get it. Not sure if they still have the chicken skins on the menu, but they are great with drinks before the meal.
