What's going on up there in God's Country? Hearing the city is out of water.

We have water. Pressure is just a little slow
No school today though. My kids are happy.

News is reporting a large water main break. Some areas without water, others with low pressure. Kid's school is out but got plenty of water at our office downtown. Guess it's just a hit or miss on who's affected.

No that was a this summer thing. It was weird.
Its back to "normal", which I guess still could taste like shite, but this summer was particularly shitty.

42” main broke yesterday. Downtown and North is apparently still good. West Shreveport is bad, South and East are marginal. I got a low pressure shower this morning out by LSUS.
Won’t have a fix until Friday

Per the mayor’s press conference- the parts and staff won’t be available until then. We’ll get band-aids until then. Glad I have water reserves in my garage from the freeze. 50 gallons to flush toilets and 30 gallons to cook with if necessary

Yeah I filled up our whirlpool tub today in case we fully lose water.
And like you, I still have cases of water that I stockpiled for the winter storm.
But I WFH now, and trying to get work done with my kids at home is a nightmare

Isn't there a river that runs through it?

Highly recommend you boil it.
Low/slow pressure is not good for a city water system.

Nice.
Make sure the Economic Development folks mention this to potential interested parties.

Low water pressure in Broadmoor.
My wife woke me up this morning and asked me to fix the sink, it wasn't putting out much water.
I said, "Honey, that's a little beyond my control."
