In Scotland, an attempt to enter a school was stopped

armed with two knives was stopped before he entered the kindergarden and then the school he was trying to enter. Two were injured by him.
So he broke into a shop and trashed the place, escaped to a building where he looked out, smiled (above) with the police looking up at him.

Closest so far I can find is a Scottish tabloid magazine that doesn't match the OP
Sounds like the report of him trying to enter a kids school is false, according to this tabloid

Update, found bbc report which also doesn't mention the school as well. Just mentions they were on lockdown.
