Exhibitions start today (Team USA vs the Giants @ 2pm central on ESPN)

Who you got? Japan to repeat? Any big injury predictions? Sure bet is that Jerry will be in here sucking off The Judge.

Full schedule:

Japan barely beat the USA C team last time. Merrill Kelly started the final for frick's sake. If the USA doesn't win this year I'll be utterly shocked. This year's roster is infinitely better, especially the pitching.

For the first time ever the US has sent some semblance of a legitimate pitching effort

Baseball is weird when boilded down to 1 game but we should win

My jaw hit the floor and I pitched a southern tent when I saw Skenes and Skubal on the roster.

It's on like Donkey Kong this year

Skubal has already stated he’s only pitching 1 55 pitch game, against Great Britain of all teams, and I’d imagine Skenes and Webb will be on a strict pitch counts too. If this team wins it all it will be because the bullpen came through.

I'll still take that over pitching a 41 year old Adam Wainwright

I was really hoping when they announced Skubal and Skenes it would be just for the knockout rounds

Today and tomorrow’s games are exhibitions. At least for the USA anyway.

I really don’t see the point of having Skubal if he isn’t going to pitch in the knockouts. Should have let someone else have that spot.

Thinking about going to the US/Great Britain game. Tickets are pretty cheap but I'm thinking that's because this game might be over after 5 innings

Our top pitchers won’t be playing the games at the end, I’m guessing Japan’s will be again. I gotta say it’s a repeat

Ohtani won’t pitch and Imanaga and Sasaki aren’t playing. I doubt Yamamoto is throwing at the end. I can promise their NPB arms will be much better scouted this time around

Does Profar's suspension keep him out of the WBC or can he still play? If he's able to play and still feeling a bit of the juice that Dutch team might make it to knockouts.
