Apple taking another swing at the iBook. They really are struggling to come up with new ideas without Jobs at the helm.

Not a bad little piece of hardware. I'm all-in on Windows, so no, I won't be getting one.

Seems odd it doesn't have one USB-A port. C is better, but there are still tons of devices out there that come with A because of the costs associated with C.

If I was in the market for a new personal computer I would, but the business world is still designed for PC and having a Mac just makes life more complicated (in most fields).

I will not. The MacBook Air is the sweet spot in their lineup right now.

No. I do not compute with fruit. Plus, I don't see the purpose in paying more for something that will either have compatibility issues with 80% of the rest of the computing world or will add several extra steps to my workflow to ensure compatibility. I also don't care for the 1980s font set they use and the colored dots.

You can buy a $5 or less A to C adapter. I have several for some legacy A components and they work just fine. In fact I just these from Amazon a month ago. Much cheaper than I rembered.

Link to Amazon.

This machine is not targeted for you. This is an entry level machine for kids and students.

I replaced a 2018 Air last March. I choose an Air MacBook M4, it is blazing fast. They have an MacBook Air M5 now. Go for it!
