I'm sure it's nothing. Didn't you see that Ryan Gosling is saying his new Star Wars movie is going to deliver on all fronts?

They don’t have any fuel to run their grid anymore.

It's hard to say what this is from. My family and I go to Cuba every year to visit family. These rolling blackouts have been going on for a few years now, and have been getting worse over the last 3 or so years.... long before this recent oil blockade. There have any been times where the ENTIRE COUNTRY had a blackout for days. I think this was two years ago. So... its hard to say if this is just the usual problem, which it might be, but of course these things are going to increase now in light of the diminishing oil and gas in the country. Hopefully, SOON, our loved ones there in Cuba can FINALLY experience true liberty. Cuba Libre!

They probably ran out of fuel, or money, or both.

Parts of New Roads are out of power too! Coincidence? I think not.

Pretty sure their power plants are all oil fired, so with no oil they are kinda fricked.

I was in Cuba the Summer of 2018, that seemed to be the golden era of Communist Cuba. Castros were out, US tourism was at a peak, internet was becoming available, and things seem to be changing for the better. It all went backwards since then, no Russian money and support, Canadians have cooled off on visits, US tourism disappeared. It’s an antiquated cash system and even the Euros want the protection of credit cards. They just got a taste and now the are ready to flip the switch. It’s just a matter of time.
