If tweet fails to load, click here. Deadline article noting additional cast not pictured
ETA: Adding the list since the Twitter post doesn't add all of them:

Mike Flanagan has added 11 longtime collaborators to the cast of his untitled new Exorcist movie, Deadline has learned: Rahul Kohli, Hamish Linklater, Gil Bellows, Carl Lumbly, Robert Longstreet, Matt Biedel, Samantha Sloyan, Kate Siegel, John Gallagher Jr., Benjamin Pajak, and Carla Gugino.

Shocker, it is largely his same cast for all his stuff
Can't wait for it, sucker for everything he has done so far.

The original is a top 10 all time movie for me. There never should’ve been a sequel but since there’s been so many I would like to see good one.
The third one was alright with George Scott but still wasn’t crazy about it.

At least she's a good actress.
I'm just excited he's working with Hamish Linklater again. He was excellent in Midnight Mass.

The final scene where Regan appears was the best part of the 2023 film.

Third one is the only true spiritual successor to the first It’s a really good stand alone movie that can function in the same universe.

The series on Fox was a direct sequel and at least the first season was great.

The third one was actually the real sequel to the original.

Wasn't the third one a script having nothing to do with the Exorcist and they added in the Exorcist stuff? Like DHWAV?

The third movie is based off of the novel Legion, which is a book following detective Kinderman from the Exorcist. Father Karras is also in both the book and movie. I'm sure there are things in the movie that were added to tie it even more closely to the exorcist, but it was originally written in book form with connections.
Legion was the third book in that particular trilogy which lined up with the third movie. The second book had nothing to do with the exorcist 2 movie. The second book is referenced in the first movie when she says "you're going to die up there" because she's talking to an astronaut at the party who is the character from the second book.
Further history, the second book is called The Ninth Configuration and it has a movie. I've never watched the movie or read the book, but apparently it is about the astronaut cancelling his mission in space due to trauma from Pazuzu taunting him and some of the psychologic battles after.
Really interesting series of books to read about. I've always been a big fan of Exorcist III. IMO it has one of the GOAT suspense/jump scare moments ever in a horror movie.
